Angela has worked with children and adults with developmental disabilities for 19 years. She works in private homes, school districts, adult group homes & day programs, as well as in-home & center-based ABA programs for children with autism. She provides support and training in applied behavior analysis (ABA), problem behavior reduction & replacement, positive behavior systems, job skills & transitions, and alternative communication methods.

Early Start Denver Model certified therapist 
Kim is an Early Start Denver Model certified therapist, and teaches in the special education department at UW-Oshkosh. Ms. Nichols-Green began working with individuals with autism in 1998. She earned her B.A. in Psychology in 2000, and her M.S.E. in Special Education in 2009. She also completed the autism certification through UW-Oshkosh, and is certified in Therapeutic Listening. Now she is able to support individuals with various disabilities and their families directly and indirectly in the home and classroom through diagnosis, skill assessment and program development, training, suggesting resource referrals, and consulting with other service professionals.

Richard Peksa, M.Ed, BCBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Richard has worked with children and adults with developmental disabilities for over 30 years in four different states.  He graduated from Ripon College and went on to obtain a Behavioral Intervention in Autism certificate from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell before earning a Master’s Degree in Education with Foundations in Behavior Analysis from the University of Cincinnati.  Richard has worked in community-based settings including private businesses, individual homes, group homes, large campus-based residential settings and public schools.  Using the tenets of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Richard has worked with individuals and their families & caregivers, as well as the organizations which support them, to shape learning and behavior.

Jessica Tubbs, B.A., RBT
Behavior Treatment Therapist

Jessica has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for 6 years, starting in 2014 as a Behavior Technician at a center-based program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She was one of first two Behavior Technicians at TRIO Academy when the center opened in 2018.  Jessica was promoted to a Behavior Therapist when she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2019. She is excited to start a master’s program in Psychology with and ABA emphasis in the fall of 2020.  As a Behavior Therapist at TRIO Academy, Jessica wears many hats but focuses on assessing children’s skills, creating treatment plans, building programs, and training new Technicians.
